About Kristen
Recently . . .
Kristen Therese Chua graduated from Oklahoma City University with her BFA in Acting and minors in Psychology and English. She is also a recent graduate of Arizona State University where she received her second bachelor’s in English with a concentration in Narrative Studies. Additionally, she has previously worked as an Associate Editor for Hayden’s Ferry Review. Kristen’s work has been published in Canyon Voices (Issue 30), The Scarab (ed. 38-40), Seasons of Therapy, The Amulet, and Pierian Spring. More about her writing can be found here.
Some of her favorite past roles include: Belle u/s in Beauty and the Beast, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival's inaugural season), Little Red in Into the Woods, Alais Capet in The Lion in Winter, and Meg in A Lie of the Mind.
Recently, she was proud to be a part of All Queer Shakespeare's Love is Love: A Valentine's Day Queer Cabaret. Currently, Kristen is working as a resident actor with Charleston Stage for their 48th season.
